Haircut AND a Shave

Maybe I can get a neck message at Big League Haircuts in Hebron, but at Verona Salon in Podujeve I get a SHAVE along with my haircut. It's like a mini-spa experience. Musa charges 3.50 euros for a haircut and a shave. As a matter of fact, you can get lots of stuff here with the change in your pocket. A kilo of carrots - 50 cents. A car wash - 2 euro. Hamburger and fries - 1.50 euros. Movie ticket - 2 euro. Language lessons - 2 euros/hour. All-day Parking - 1 euro. They do have a 1 and 2 euro coin which is nice. I now think America should get rid of the one-dollar bill.

That does look like a great time! I agree about the dollar coins. After using the loonie ($1) and toonie ($2) in Canada, I came to love the idea that I could buy lunch with the change in my pocket.

You are getting WAY too comfortable there! I envy the strength of your pocket change. My IRA has taken a tumble recently, so I may need for you to bring some of those carrots back to me here in Hebron. I am not too worried about the IRA thing. I like my new job so much that I won't mind working here until I am 85.

I found the "solid axle" pine cars if you are still in need. Apparently they were "out of season" when I last looked. Let me know if you would like me to box up 4 of them for you!

Garo - when did you start shaving? Sounds like all is well on for you and the family - great to hear!

You're making me envious with the Euro comments -- and it's now almost 1.5 USD to EUR. Ouch!

Not to worry - we're being promised lots of "change" in the next election. :-)

Peace to you, Julia, Melanie & Daniel. God Bless, Steve N & fam
